In version 28 of the Vinteo video conferencing server the new functionality Address book has appeared. Therefore the logic for displaying the list in the “Moderators” window of the conference settings has changed.

For the administrators the list in the “Moderators” window is formed from all accounts. For accounts (moderators) the list in the window is formed based on their address book.

This is the situation when several moderators are assigned to a conference but they do not have each other in their address book. As the result one of the moderators may not see other moderators and when saving the settings he will delete all other moderators that he does not see.

To solve this problem it is necessary to ensure that these moderator accounts are visible in each other’s access profile in the address book.

To do this you can study information about the functionality of the Address book in our knowledge base or follow the following example which describes the creation of a separate group of accounts with a default access profile:

1. go to the Address book page;

2. create the group "Conference moderators {conference number}". The "Weight" parameter determines how high the group will be in the address book. The higher the weight the higher the group;

3. add the required moderator accounts to the created group;

4. make contacts visible in the group.

Now moderators in the conference settings will be visible to each other and after saving the settings the moderator will not delete other moderators.
