Joining a Zoom meeting
Zoom conference administrator can activate the Zoom Conference Room Connector service, which allows you to connect participants to the conference via SIP or H.323.
Connecting to a Zoom conference from VINTEO must be done via SIP. To do this, the conference organizer must provide you with the following connection parameters:
- conference_id@domain (in your specific case, "conference_id" and "domain" will be unique, for example, 32657428762@zoomcrc.com);
- conference access code.
Setup steps:
1. Determine the Zoom gateway address. In the first step, find out the IP address of the zoomcrc.com domain gateway for calls to this URL via SIP TCP.
On Linux/Mac you can use the command:
dig_sip._tcp. zoomcrc.com SRV For Windows, you can use the nslookup command:
nslookup -type=srv_sip._tcp. zoomcrc.com
2. Add a user to VINTEO. Add a user of the SIP type and enter the “conference_identifier” in his number (in our example, the number: 32657428762). In the IP field enter the address obtained in the first step. In DTMF mode, set inband, disable BFCP.
3. Add a user to the conference. Add the user to the conference you need and in the participant’s settings, in the “Play DTMF” field, enter the “access code”. Before the code add several w characters in order to add a pause before dialing to ensure that the codecs are connected and negotiated before the access code is dialed. And after the code add the # symbol.
Example: www933161#
4. Call the user
