When you first launch the program in a browser window you must click the button to open the Vinteo Desktop application or connect using Vinteo Desktop.

Also when you first launch or connect a new device the notification appears about the selected camera and microphone.

Then in the connection settings window you need to enter the name and press the call button.

In the connection settings you need to specify the display name without filling in the connection address; The "Skip" button will become active. When you fill in the fields with the connection address and name the "Done" button becomes active. You can also log in in the initial menu.

Software setup

When further setting up the window with four tabs is displayed: “User settings”, “Configuring the connection”, "Configuring devices" and "Additional settings".

The connected built-in peripheral equipment is initialized: web camera and audio recording/playback devices. Then you are asked to enter the server address, registration data and configure the peripherals. The devices assigned by default in the system will be selected.

"User settings" tab

Without registering on the server you can only make outgoing anonymous calls in conferences. In this case the address book will be saved locally. To receive calls from conferences and/or from other accounts the account must register on the server. The data must be requested from the server administrator.

Attention! For Vinteo Desktop an account with type WS must be used.

If the account's credentials (number and/or password) are entered incorrectly a warning about incorrect data entry will appear.
